This route of about an hour and a half takes you through the quiet, rural landscape of Andalusia. The rolling hills, the olive groves and the breathtaking views of the Ana y Gomer make this a wonderful route to start or end the day.

The walk is suitable for all levels and offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature along the way. Whether you want to walk in silence or stop occasionally to take photos, this route will give you a relaxing experience of the surrounding beauty of Finca Gordo.

### Climb the Ana y Gomer: For the Fanatics

Are you looking for a bigger challenge? We offer guidance for the climb of the Ana y Gomer, a mountain of no less than 1650 meters high. This hike is an adventure for the more experienced hiker who is not afraid of a tough challenge. The climb is steep and requires a good condition, but the view from the top is worth every effort. On clear days you can even see the coast of the Mediterranean and in the distance the mountains of Africa.

### El Torcal de Antequera: A Wonderful Karst Landscape

Just a 30 minute drive from Finca Gordo you will find **El Torcal de Antequera**, one of the most unique natural parks in Spain. This area is known for its spectacular limestone rock formations, which have taken on bizarre shapes through millions of years of erosion. It is like walking through an alien landscape.

There are two routes in El Torcal: a short one of about an hour and a longer one of two hours. Both paths take you through a maze of rocks, past natural bridges and caves. This is also the perfect place to spot the Spanish ibex (capricorn), which climbs effortlessly over the rocks. In addition, birds of prey fly majestically above the gorges and valleys. The views from the higher points are spectacular, with panoramic views over the Andalusian landscape.
