Cancellation policy

We always recommend that you take out good travel insurance.

It may happen that the holiday has to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the booker or his/her deputy must notify this In Writing or by telephone. In most cases there are costs associated with a cancellation or change. In addition to the reservation and other costs owed, the following applies: • In case of cancellation up to the 90th day before arrival: 15 % van de huurprijs; • Bij annulering vanaf de 90ste dag tot de 60ste dag voor aankomst: 50% of the rental price; • Cancellation from the 60th day to the 31st day before arrival: 75 % van de huurprijs; • Bij annulering vanaf de 31ste dag tot 1dag voor Aankomst: 90% of the rent; • In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or later: 100% of the rental price.

Cancellation by Finca Gordo:

In the event of force majeure, both of a permanent and temporary nature, the B&B Finca Gordo is entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to suspend it temporarily without the guest being able to claim fulfillment and/or compensation: A. including, but not limited to: danger of war, war, insurrection, war, strikes, boycott, disruptions in the energy circuit, in traffic or transport, measures taken by government roads, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, B. Death of one of owners or close relatives, etc., including full or partial fulfillment of the agreement in reasonableness and fairness cannot be required of B&B Finca Gordo. This also applies in the event of business termination and/or sale of the real estate.

Change: When a guest wants to change an agreement, this can be done up to 30 days before arrival. The booking may not be cheaper than the original booking after modification. Change costs may be charged for these changes.

In lieu: If the reservation is transferred entirely to a third party, the booker must indicate this in writing to Finca Gordo. Change costs are charged for these changes. Amounts already paid will be deemed to have been paid by the acquiring party. The transferring and acquiring parties must arrange this between themselves.
