Cancellation conditions

We recommend that you take out good travel insurance at all times.

It may happen that you have to cancel the holiday due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the booker or his deputy must communicate this In Writing or by telephone. In most cases, costs are associated with a cancellation or change. In addition to the reservation and other costs due, the following applies: • Cancellation up to the 90th day before arrival: 15% of the rent; • Cancellation from the 90th day to the 60th day before arrival: 50% of the rent; • Cancellation from the 60th day to the 31st day before arrival: 75% of the rent; • In case of cancellation from the 31st day to 1 day before Arrival: 90% of the rental price; • Cancellation on the day of arrival or later: 100% of the rent.

Cancellation by Finca Gordo:

In the event of force majeure, both of a permanent and temporary nature, the B&B Finca Gordo is entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to suspend it temporarily without the guest being able to claim fulfillment and/or compensation: A. Under force majeure, including, but not limited to: danger of war, war, insurrection, acts of war, strikes, boycott, disruptions in the energy circuit, traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, B. Death of one of the owners or close relatives, etc., under which full or partial fulfillment of the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be required of the B&B Finca Gordo. This also applies in the event of business termination and/or sale of the property.

Change: When a guest wants to change an agreement, this can be done up to 30 days before arrival. The booking may not be cheaper than the original booking after amendment. Change costs may be charged for these changes.

Substitution: If the reservation is transferred in its entirety to a third party, the booker must indicate this in writing to Finca Gordo. Change costs will be charged for these changes. Amounts already paid will be deemed to have been paid by the acquiring party. The transferring party and the acquiring party must arrange this between themselves.
