Cancellation conditions

We always recommend that you take out good travel insurance.

It may happen that the holiday has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the booker or his representative must report this in writing or by telephone. In most cases, a cancellation or change will incur costs. In addition to the reservation and other costs due, the following applies: • In case of cancellation up to the 90th day before arrival: 15% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation from the 90th day to the 60th day before arrival: 50% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation from the 60th day to the 31st day before arrival: 75% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation from the 31st day to 1 day before arrival: 90% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or later: 100% of the rental price.

Cancellation by Finca Gordo:

In the event of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, B&B Finca Gordo is entitled to terminate the agreement in whole or in part or to temporarily suspend it without the guest being able to claim performance and/or compensation: A. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: threat of war, war, uprising, molestation, strikes, boycotts, disruptions in the energy circuit, in traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, B. Death of one of the owners or close family members, etc. under which full or partial performance of the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be demanded of B&B Finca Gordo. This also applies in the event of termination of the business and/or sale of the property.

Changes: When a guest wants to change an agreement, this can be done up to 30 days before arrival. The booking may not be cheaper after the change than the original booking. Change fees may be charged for these changes.

In substitution: If the reservation is transferred in its entirety to a third party, the booker must notify Finca Gordo in writing. For these changes, change costs will be charged. Amounts already paid will be considered as paid by the transferring party. The transferring and transferring parties must arrange this among themselves.
