"What time can we check in or out?"
Check-in is between 16:00 and 20:00 and check-out between 08:00 and 11:00. Of course we try to be flexible with these times. Please let us know your check-in or check-out time a day in advance.

"Is breakfast included and at what times?"
Yes, breakfast is always included when you book through this site. There is also a possibility for a GORDO breakfast. You must then indicate this and it will be charged extra. In principle, breakfast is between 8:30 and 10:30, but if you want to leave early, we can take that into account. You never have to leave our finca on an empty stomach.

"How do we reach you?"
Our Bed and Breakfast is easy to reach by car. In Google Maps you type Finca Gordo. The GPS coordinates are 36.931616,-4.289682 . Please note that you drive through the village and never take a dirt road or gravel or dirt road. Only the last 100 meters is gravel. We have an electric gate. Ring the bell and we will open. If we do not hear the bell, call 0031653534088 or honk.

Public transport: No problem. 7 times a day from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 20:15 there is a bus from Malaga to Riogordo. Saturday and Sunday 3 times. Ask for the times. The journey takes about 1 hour. Do you have luggage? We will be happy to pick you up from the bus station.
Do you want to be picked up from Malaga airport, that is also possible. For €80.00 we do an airport pick-up up to 4 people.

Are there enough parking spaces?

Our site has ample parking space behind our automatic gate. You are safe and out of sight.

"Where can we sit outside?"
Our Finca is 7800 m2 and each room has its own sitting area. But also here and there spread over the terrain you can sit or lie down and enjoy the panoramic view almost 360 degrees. Only our own terrace in front of the house we like to keep for ourselves.

Is the pool heated?
We make sure the pool is above 20 degrees between May and October. The pool is separate from the house with sun loungers around it where you can sunbathe privately. You can also enjoy the view from the pool.

Are children welcome?
In principle, we would like to accommodate adults only. Not because we don't like children, but to guarantee the peace and privacy of the other guests. If you rent all the rooms with 1 or 2 families, children are more than welcome. We assume that you keep an eye on them yourself.

Can we rent the entire complex?
Yes, the entire complex can be rented if no other guests have been booked yet. In consultation, we can arrange everything. Please note that we do live on the Finca ourselves. Parties are also possible. If you want to have more guests stay overnight, we have contacts in the area where we can accommodate your (extra) guests.

Do you also provide meals?
Of course we provide an extensive breakfast with regional products. But we can also provide other drinks and meals such as lunch and a 3-course dinner on one of the terraces. If necessary, we can hire an ex-Michelin star chef. Let yourself be surprised just like the other guests!

Can we use our own food and drinks at the Finca?
The honest answer: I'd rather not. We want to guard against vermin. Preparing meals is really not possible. But we understand that if you bought a really nice wine or something special, you want to enjoy it. So that is possible. We would appreciate it if you used the "honesty bar" as much as possible.

What is an Honesty Bar and how does it work?

Finca Gordo offers on the veranda or, in the winter, a common room. We call this the Honesty bar. A well-stocked refrigerator with soft drinks, Spanish wines and various beers. The bar also has savory snacks. We ask you to note what you have used. The costs will be charged upon departure.

Are there restaurants and shops in the village? What to do in Riogordo?
Yes, there are enough real Spanish restaurants and cafes. There are several supermarkets, grocers, butchers, bakers and there is an ATM. There is even a museum and Riogordo has 2 churches. In your room is an extensive list of most restaurants.
