B&B Finca Gordo in Andalusia invites Peter Laarakker to approach photography in a different way.

Rustic. Personal. With space to discover what you see.

Peter Laarakker (1956) has been active as a professional photographer since 1984. From his studio Visual Photo Design in Nijmegen, he worked for many years for large and small clients, including companies, publishers and government institutions.

Portraits and commercial photography formed the basis of his work.

Alongside his assignments, he guided several photography students, some of whom later became successful photographers.

Himself travels frequently, with local events and daily life often serving as the starting point. Not the destination, but what happens determines the image.

Technique is important, but never the goal in itself.

Photography begins with **seeing and looking**.

For amateur photographers, one rule applies: pleasure always comes first

The photography guidance at Finca Gordo is practical, personal and tailored to your level. You work individually or in small groups at a relaxed pace.

* Learning to look at light, shadow, form and timing

* Composition and image construction

* Insight into technique, only when necessary

* Practical moments on and around the finca

* Image review and tips for post-processing

(nice if you bring your own laptop with Lightroom)

At the end of the day or during your stay, we discuss the images together. No judgment, just direction and guidance.

Groups are small (maximum 6 participants), so there is always room for personal attention.

The photography guidance takes place at B&B Finca Gordo in Riogordo, Andalusia.

Pick-up from **Málaga Airport** is possible (€80 per trip, max. 4 people).
