"What time can we check in or out?"
Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and check-out is between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. We try to be flexible with these times. Please let us know your check-in or check-out time a day in advance.

"Is breakfast included and at what times?"
Yes, breakfast is always included when you book through this site. A GORDO breakfast is also available. Please let us know in advance, and we'll charge you extra. Breakfast is typically served between 8:30 and 10:30 AM, but if you need to leave early, we can accommodate that. You'll never have to leave our finca on an empty stomach.

"How do we reach you?"
Our Bed and Breakfast is easily accessible by car. Enter Finca Gordo into Google Maps. The GPS coordinates are 36.931616,-4.289682 . Please be sure to drive through the village and never take a dirt or gravel path. Only the last 100 meters are gravel. We have an electric gate. Ring the bell and we will open it. If we don't hear the bell, please call 0031653534088 or honk your horn.

Public transport: No problem. There's a bus from Malaga to Riogordo seven times a day, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 8:15 PM. Three times a day on Saturdays and Sundays. Please inquire about the times. The journey takes approximately one hour. If you have luggage, we'll be happy to pick you up from the bus station.
Would you like to be picked up from Malaga Airport? That's also possible. For €80.00, we offer airport pickup for up to 4 people.

Are there enough parking spaces?

Our site offers ample parking behind our automatic gate. You'll be safe and out of sight.

"Where can we sit outside?"
Our Finca is 7,800 m² in size, and every room has its own seating area. But you can also sit or lie down in various locations throughout the property and enjoy the almost 360-degree panoramic views. We only like to keep our own terrace in front of the house to ourselves.

Is the pool heated?
We ensure the pool is above 20 degrees Celsius between May and October. The pool is separate from the house, with sun loungers surrounding it for private sunbathing. You can also enjoy the view from the pool.

Are children welcome?
In principle, we prefer to accommodate adults only. Not because we don't like children, but to ensure the peace and privacy of other guests. If you rent all the rooms with one or two families, children are more than welcome. We expect you to keep an eye on them.

Can we rent the entire complex?
Yes, the entire complex is available for rent if no other guests are booked. We can arrange everything upon consultation. Please note that we do live on the Finca. Parties are also possible. If you'd like to accommodate more guests, we have contacts in the area where we can accommodate your (additional) guests.

Do you also provide meals?
Naturally, we provide a full breakfast with regional products. We can also arrange other drinks and meals, such as lunch and a three-course dinner, on one of the terraces. We can even hire a former Michelin-starred chef. Just like the other guests, you'll be amazed!

Can we use our own food and drinks at the Finca?
The honest answer: I'd rather not. We want to protect against pests. Preparing meals is simply not an option. But we understand that if you've bought a really good wine or something special, you'll want to enjoy it. So, that's possible. We would appreciate it if you used the "honesty bar" as much as possible.

What is an Honesty Bar and how does it work?

Finca Gordo offers a communal area on the veranda or, in winter, a bar called the Honesty Bar. A well-stocked refrigerator with soft drinks, Spanish wines, and a variety of beers is available. Savory snacks are also available. Please make a note of your consumption. The cost will be charged upon departure.

Are there restaurants and shops in the village? What is there to do in Riogordo?
Yes, there are plenty of authentic Spanish restaurants and cafes. There are several supermarkets, a grocery store, butchers, bakers, and an ATM. There's even a museum, and Riogordo has two churches. A comprehensive list of most restaurants is available in your room.
