Enjoy a wonderful holiday in Andalusia? Our small-scale B&B Finca Gordo is located near the village of Riogordo near Málaga, in one of the most beautiful places in Andalusia. Due to its central location, our small-scale B&B is the ideal base for trips to authentic white villages , such as Comares and Frigiliana and historic cities such as Granada, Cordoba and Ronda . The famous Caminito del Rey walk near Allora Caminito del Rey and the Rio Chilar near Nerja, El Torcal nature park and various beautiful beaches are also easily accessible. The immediate surroundings of Finca Gordo are also beautiful, you can enjoy walking and cycling in the unspoilt nature.

The 4 atmospheric and spacious rooms have their own bathroom and private terrace. In the garden is a lovely swimming pool with sunbeds. Because it is a small-scale accommodation, it is never busy at our pool. Between the olive, lemon and almond trees you will find various seating areas to read or enjoy the breathtaking view over the valley and the mountains of the Montes de Málaga nature park.

Welcome to Finca Gordo, an intimate retreat in the heart of Andalusia, run by Dutch owners Peter and Marina. Since 2019 we have found our fantastic place in Riogordo, where we can live out our passion for small-scale and personal attention.

Our travels through Africa, Asia and Central America inspired us to create our own Bed and Breakfast. We believe in a personal approach, where privacy and hospitality are central. Situated on a breathtaking estate of more than 7800 m2, Finca Gordo offers panoramic views of the valley, villages and mountains.

Marina is your walking encyclopedia of the region, full of knowledge about the area and the best excursions you can make. As an avid foodie and former professional photographer, Peter provides culinary delights and offers photography courses for those interested.

Many people ask us if this is an "I'm Leaving" story. Yes, we have definitely left for Spain. And no, our move went smoothly and we were warmly welcomed by the local community of Riogordo. Local entrepreneurs played an essential role in our renovations and have good contacts with the Spanish.
